Minimum Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Minimum four 15 years of general construction experience with particular emphasis with particular emphasis the project management of complex military, commercial, or industrial facilities projects, site development, and building commissioning.
Working knowledge of CADD, Word and Excel along with required and experience with Change Orders and claims associated with large construction projects.
Demonstrated experience generating and reviewing cost estimates and schedules
Heating/cooling building load calculation programs necessary.
Must have good oral and written communication skills.
Valid Drivers License.

Position Description:

Civil Engineer position for the construction project management of large, complex, multimillion dollar projects at Ft. Benning, GA. This is a multiyear program of expansion and renovation. The selectee will work out of the US Army Corps of Engineers Ft. Benning Area Office under the direction of a USACE Resident Engineer.

This position will include reviewing and interpreting plans and specifications for completeness, accuracy, and constructability. Field construction inspection and reporting will comprise the majority of the work. Interaction with clients and contractors requires candidate to have a professional presentation along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
