Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of CA plumbing code. Valid Driver's License.


Job Description: Design of PLUMBING systems for all types of facilities like but not limited to hospitals, labs, commercial and high rise buildings. The plumbing designer should be fully knowledge of calculations of medical gas systems, waste/vent systems, cold/hot water systems, storm drainage systems, process piping systems and fire protection systems.

In this position, you will be part of a design team and will be expected to communicate and coordinate your work with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical. In addition, you will interpret plumbing codes and write plumbing specifications. You will also conduct field site surveys to determine existing conditions, and design systems to accommodate these field conditions. You will work on various projects in different phases of design and construction, and respond to design and construction issues as related to plumbing systems. You will need to actively participate in team meetings. On occasion, you will meet and interact with clients.
